Indonesian archipelago cultural initiatives (IACI) is
an association, established by those who have concerns towards the
culture vision and management over the years. This group was
declared on December 29th 2007 in Bandung, with the main vision to
preserve the traditional culture with the untraditional way. One of its
founders, Hokky Situngkir, is a scientist who believes in scientific
approaches to gain the better living, due to the ability of human beings
to discover the beauty through reasoning.
IACI has been actively involved themselves in conducting the inventory
of the nation’s cultural richness. There are over 10 artifacts
recorded. Together with the Bandung Fe Institute and Solar Research
International, Indonesian archipelago cultural
initiatives will study their inventory further. From these
studies, they want to bring out a number of research works and other
innovative products.

having a lot of works to do. Besides keeping a note of the cultural
heritage inventory, they also hold a number of expeditions and web 2.0
training to provides the cultural data collection program at educational
institutions like colleges, schools and other cultural enclaves. A

forms of traditional culture in Indonesia, including
